Canon PowerShot S90 Review
With a current price of $ 399 in Amazon, the new Canon Powershot S90 equipped with 10MPs CCD sensor. The camera offering the best image quality on low light condition. Its design small and thin, trying to emulate the advanced Lumix LX3, but it has brilliant goal which boasts a total aperture of f2.0 at wide angle and closed to f4.9 with fully extended zoom (3.8X or 105mm) without losing brightness. Canon Powershot S90 Review
CNET : 4 stars/ score 8
The good: Excellent control system for manual, semimanual shooting; fantastic wide-angle f2 lens; very good low-light photo quality.
The bad: Performance is merely average; no HD movie mode or optical zoom while recording; no optical viewfinder and a couple other design miscues.
The bottom line: As long as you’re not expecting dSLR speed in a tiny body, the Canon PowerShot S90 is an excellent compact camera for advanced amateurs.
Alatest: 99/100 score
Experts rate this product 82/100 and users 87/100. Compared to other digital compact cameras, the Canon PowerShot S90 is awarded an overall alaScore™ of 99/100 = Excellent quality.
Electronicsme.com: 6.0 of 10
The 10.0 megapixel image capture and movie recording specs, while impressive, are not something that helps the S90 stand out on value when compared with other digital compact cameras on the market. If you own a PictBridge printer you might wish to take a harder look at the S90, but without any standout functionality there is better value for money to be found in other cameras.
Pros
- 10.0 Megapixel
- RAW Capture support
- PictBridge Compatible
- PC & Mac Compatible
Cons : Low value for money
