I can not see wearing Blue GPS Shoes advantages for conventional use. It is bad for privacy. Fortunately no body (esp your boss) asking you wearing this shoes all the time.
The shoes might be great for hiking, cycling, mountaineering, or any other outdoor activity. For this, I prefer using Google Latitude system, which is already integrated in the mobile version of Google Maps.
It should be available before the end of the year for $ 150.
