Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 Review

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 is a very nice camera that handles variety shooting situations. With long and wide-angle compact zoom lens, the camera can zoom while recording video in 720p

In this camera Panasonic offers an interesting combination of features, including 12x optical zoom lens and 720p AVCHD video capture in striking and compact body. With better image quality, a little faster performance, and a wide angle lens.

The ZS3 also offers HD (high definition) video mode 720p with stereo and an HDMI output. Specific video options including the size and quality, the area choice or face detection AF, Continuous AF, color and the wind filter. The device records HD video (720p) to 1280 × 720 30fps, which are saved in the AVCHD lite format and using a 12 megapixel sensor in order to maintain the same angle of view in a 4:3 mode and 16:9 aspect.

Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS 3 Review

CNET - (scored 7.5/ 3.5 stars of 5): “As long as you don’t want much in the way of manual features, this is a very nice camera that can handle a variety shooting situations

Digital Trends – (Scored 4 stars of 5): “Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 goes to the top of the list for sub-$400 digicams. With its 12x wide-angle zoom, compact size and very good high-def video, the camera comes close to our two-in-one fantasy device.

PhotoReview.au – (Scored 4 stars of 5): “With flash, noise levels were much lower with high sensitivity settings – although the highest ISO setting was restricted to 1600. It was possible to make acceptable A5 sized prints from shots taken at ISO 1600. The flash required an ISO setting of 200 before it could illuminate an average-sized room. However, exposures were even from ISO 400 to ISO 1600.”

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 available in blue, silver, black and red.

Canon Vixia HF S11 Review

The new Canon Vixia HF S11 is the latest Canon camcorder that records in FullHD and store in two options.

First, Canon Vixia HF S11 use 64 GB internal flash memory type (not hard drive) that can record up to 24 hours of high definition video without any problem. In other hand, Canon Vixia HF S11 also uses SDHC memory Slot cards that can store up to 32 GB. These two storage options mode make this camcorder reliable than traditional hard drives because the absence of mechanical parts

For other technical specifications, we will find 8.59 megapixel CMOS sensor that allows recording in Full HD format, 1920 × 1080 points. 10x optical zoom and 200x digital plus a 2.7-inch screen and HDMI output completes its main features, making it a high-end camera quite interesting, although there are some models that offer better alternatives than the CMOS sensor. The camcorder also comes with a SuperRange OIS Dynamic stabilization system to eliminate recording vibration.

Got 4 stars in CNET ratings for excellent video quality and performance, nicely designed interface, and fast battery charging. Unfortunately there are no eye-level viewfinder has expensive cost, and lens cover rattles when closed.

canon vixia hf s11

The Canon Vixia HD S11 already in the market in September by a very high price: U.S. $ 1,400 or about 1,000 Euros. Why so high? No doubt, the internal flash storage still remains expensive even though there already for some years.
