HTC Firestone
HTC Firestone, would be an improved version of the HTC Touch.
Its features are: a Windows Mobile 6.5 device that allegedly used a touch screen 3.6-inch WVGA graphics powered by a 600MHz processor from Qualcomm. The report comes as 256 MB of RAM, complemented by 512MB ROM and a microSD slot. A main feature is said to be an 8-megapixel camera, although there is no indication whether it will have autofocus or flash.
The connectivity options include GSM and HSDPA, along with Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b / g. The navigation functions are limited to using assisted GPS, an accelerometer and should allow the automatic rotation of the image.
The audio can optionally be heard through a standard 3.5 mm connector for headphones. The price has not been mentioned, but the source would be anticipated to launch in August.
