HTC Hero with GPS and Built-in Flash

HTC introduced its third generation Android phone in less than a year: HTC Hero. The Hero is designed as a telephone and web-oriented music with a touch screen. With a new interface like TouchFLO thatprovides faster access to calendars, contacts, time and weather, as well as a quick launcher use the phone. All are available as standard Android widgets.

A dedicated search button is also specific to the Hero, not just looking for the content of typical Android, but you can find contacts, email, music and even Twitter post. The contacts are also integrated with the Web site Facebook and its data combined with their Flickr galleries.

In addition, the Hero is the first phone to use Android in Flash: an updated web browser with Flash for mobile 10 is not only compatible with Web sites with flash animation typical, but YouTube and other video websites based on Flash. It also supports streaming audio.

Feature Multi-touch is new and allows users to automatically adjust the font size in the email.

The Hero presents an improved hardware, including its own touch of durability, although it poruque screen like the iPhone 3GS, add a coating of Teflon on the body that resists scratches and provides a smoother surface for grip. Finally a 3.5mm connector allows use of third-party headphones without an adapter and has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus.

As with other recent Android phones, the Hero has 3G 7.2Mbps, GPS and Wi-Fi and an accelerometer, a compass and a microSDHC card slot. A reasonably fast processor at 528MHz ARM is also critical to the headset.

Shipments of HTC Hero come to Europe in July.
