NorPro Egg Rite Egg Timer

The fist time I think its ordinary kitchen timer, but it is not. NorPro have invented a new Egg Timer method, a very different device  point to your eggs.

This is a semi-red eggs that enter the saucepan along with your future boiled eggs. Over time of firing, the red part will be shrinking and turning black in color. This color change is what tells you how in fact it is the egg, from soft to medium and ending when it is done well (hard).

This egg timer is thrown into the pan with the eggs, and is able to represent graphically (through the color change of the the resin block itself) the completion of the cooking process for the eggs that accompany it. Because it represents the full cooking history, is still works at any altitude, or through changes in burner control. Once the whole resin block has changed color, it is time to take the eggs out and throw them in cold (or icy) water.

You can find this Norpro Egg Rite Egg Timer
