Samsung Behold II Released with AMOLED and Android
Samsung officially unveiled the new Samsung Behold 2 or Samsung T939 which come with Android operating system and Touchwiz user interface. It will be the first Samsung phone with Android for T-Mobile.
Samsung Behold II features are:
- 3,2 ” AMOLED touch screen
- WiFi / Bluetooth 2.1
- Memory expandable up to 16GB
- 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video recording
- Exchange ActiveSync
- MP3 player
- Assisted GPS
The Behold II also offers three different home screens to drag and drop widgets onto the screen and organize the different workspaces with favorite widgets and application shortcuts. A 3D cube menu system is also available that looks similar to LG’s S-Class 3D interface. It’s kind of funky to look at but kind of not needed at the same time. It also support for Exchange ActiveSync (similar to the HTC Hero).
All the regular google style apps can be found in this Android OS phone that includes maps, voice search, youtube etc… Also included with this phone is Microsoft Exchange support which is a nice addition allowing the phone to be used more in businesses that support Exchange server.

Behold II is scheduled to come out before the holidays, but no firm price or date was given in the press release. Maybe Samsung wanted to get the news out so people would think twice before buying a myTouch 3G or Motorola CLIQ on T-Mobile.
