Toshiba NB205: A Green Netbook With 9 Hours Battery

Toshiba introduced the mini NB205 netbook, a system with full-size keyboard, touch with nine-hour battery, the company says. It will enter the market with a significant contribution to green technologies. The NB205 will proceador with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280con 2GB of memory. With only 10 inches, this is a NETBOOK LED screen which gives greater efficiency.

The NB205 will be offered in models called 310/210 with LED backlit display and ten-inch 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, Intel Atom N280 chip at 1.66 GHz, 1 Gbyte of DDR2 800 MHz memory, hard disk and 160 Gbytes Windows XP operating system preinstalled.

It has Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR (optional), 10/100 Ethernet, Webcam, card reader and several USB outlets. The hard drive incorporates drop sensor for data protection and has a six-cell battery which according to Toshiba gives you a range of nine hours.

Toshiba NB205 is available in various colors at the end of June, with a base price starting from $ 349. In addition, this new model is part of Toshiba’s standards Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Gold Status.
