YouTube Receives 1,000 million Visits per Day
YouTube, the online videos site part of the Google, receives 1,000 million visits daily, said the site’s founder, Chad Hurley, in a video.
“Today, three years ago, Steve (Chen) (the co-founder of YouTube) and I stood in front of our offices and we jokingly crowned the ‘kings’ of the media,” Harley says in the official blog entitled Y.000.000.000uTube .
“We just jump from the owners to join Google and shared our goal to organizing the world’s information (in our case video) and make it easily and quickly accessible to anyone, anywhere. Today I am proud to say we’re having over 1,000 million hits a day on YouTube. It is a great moment in our short history and we owe you, “he says.
Hurley said that technology is their key factor behind its success. YouTube technologies allow people loaded and viewed video quickly. Their platform allows anyone with Internet camera share their experiences.
“Three years after the acquisition, our platform and our business continues to grow and evolve. We remain committed to the same principles that had informed the site previously, but we know that things have changed. As broadband grew, so did the quality our videos. As we begin to notice contained a demand for longer, include more programs and movies on the site, “he says.
